UX/UI design lead

FunFoo’s team is expanding! 🚀

Hi 🙋‍♂️, Arnaud here, founder of FunFoo.

With FunFoo we stimulate children 👨‍👧‍👧, between the age of 5 to 10, to get in touch with food in a playful way. FunFoo encourages healthy eating habits through a digital platform with games 🎮 and assignments. They get to work with the food and get to know the ingredients 🥦🥕🌐.

We work together with major food companies in the e-commerce sector to achieve this. We are currently working on the platform for our first international client.

Who are we looking for? 🔎

As a UX Design Lead, you are a generalist. You share ideas about the UX and User Journey of FunFoo’s platform and educational games. You give the platform a design. In addition, you manage a developer and artist. You take into account deadlines and budget.

What does this role entail?

You understand the needs of the various stakeholders in this project and can explain them clearly.
You use wireframing and prototyping to turn this into a motivating platform and games.
You test and analyze these prototypes.
You convert the prototypes into an attractive user interface (UI), together with the artist.
You draw up a plan together with the management and expert team.
You manage the rest of the team, monitor the concept, and provide technical and creative feedback.
You communicate clearly about updates and progress.

What do we expect from you?

You are committed to our mission.
You have a good knowledge of user-centric design, user research, user flows, wireframes, usability, and design thinking.
You are fluent in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD.
You can work with prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD and/or Miro and are willing to delve further into this.
Experience with Web Development is a plus.
You enjoy working in a team and you are communicative and analytical.
Good knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
